ok so is the complete ps3 patch with voices and all stuf going to be finished by may 30?

yes may 30. if all goes well then it would released on that day or June 1st since everyone wants it to be released on a friday. Btw you should really just read the home page, it does the date of release is may 30. Also its not all the stuff thats going to be released. its version 0.99b meaning its not a full 1.0 release. No news on what its going to be included but i imagine the voicing and CGs and background will be finished. also i dont think the special sprites will be included so that might be in the 1.0 release.

.99b=Voice, CG, SS
1.0= Special Sprites
1.25 = Special CG/Animation
Thats the rough idea, this is subject to change.
The patch will most likely be June 1st since everyone wants a friday release on the main page poll

Extra CGs that were made to illustrate action scenes and that doesnt fit with the story itselffor example: the CG of the coronation of Evatrice is a necesary one
a Special CG would be something like Kanon or Evatrice fighting.

Ok... I looked at the new post about the release of .99b and
why is .99b going to get released in May 30 while 1.0 gets a release on middle of may? I mean isn't the 1.0 already the complete version? maybe someone can clear it up for me?

1.0 was the tentative name of the release, due to the actual content of this next release, its not a true 1.0 release, so its name is now .99b

What is the difference going to be between the 1.0 and .99b versions? Sorry if this is mentioned elsewhere.

Fellow witches! It is easier to ask here than searching for the fragment in the sea of internet so... Is there english translation to Hane or Tsubasa? If there isn't does there any team which is working on it?

Tsubasa is mostly TL'd. No info about Hane tho. Check animesuki forums for Tsubasa

It's a default hidden folder, maybe you've got to set it visible in the folder's preferences

so how do i set it so i can see the hidden programdata folder?

Assuming you're in Windows 7, open any folder. Menu-->Organize--> "Folders and search options"-->view tab-->(Advanced Settings)-->submenu "Hidden files and folders", mark "show hidden files, folders, and drives"--> press "OK"
Open "C:" folder, you'll be able to see it.

Aff.. I shouId have trusted the description you guys had posted... after I finished reading EP4 Chapter 1 I was hoping to hear voices in the start of Chapter 2 where Ange's future is being told... but no... all I hear is music and sound like the 7th expansion PC originals T.T...
According to your description, the 1.0 release will have Episode 4 being voiced up to Chapter 2. And I have a few questions...
1.If you are going to add more voices in the next release does that mean that EP 3 will be 100% voiced instead of the 22%(First 4 chapters complete) or will it stay the same?
2.1.0 will still have incomplete voices. does that mean there will be a 1.01,1.02 etc... release until the Question Arcs are fully sprited, CG,BG and fully voiced?
just trying to confirm something... sorry for the very long post! I hope someone answers this.

The next release will have EP3 and EP4 fully voiced. Zetsu is almost done testing stuff and after he's done he will release the script

I watched the anime and am now wishing for a season 2 for this novel... I've downloaded the patches for the question arcs and the sound novel is REALLY different from the anime... I'm glad the voice patch is included too... in Higurashi there were no voice patches and it's hard to tell who's talking since sometimes... the voices just add so much depth in the novel... hope this gets done! I really dont like playing the core arcs without the ps3 sprites and the voices. Keep up the good work! ^^,

The voices are cool but I don't totally need them. If I download the question arc patch right now, will it be at least fully sprited? I'm getting irritated with the art...,,, orz.

Yes, the Question arcs are fully sprited at the moment.

If you download both the sprite arc and the background arc, then yes, it is. There are some CGs missing though, I think - as well as some mistakes that'll be fixed in the next release. So you might just as well wait for a bit and play with the voices as well, they really add a lot of depth to it. c:

Look at the script page, once libs scripts are complete, a release can be made. We literally have nothing to release until then. Everyones putting dates, but, regardless of any date, we need to wait until hes done, before we can consolidate.

Will the next patch include voices only up until EP4 Chapter 2, or did something change? I'm just asking since the script page says the voices are done for the fourth episode as well, but I guess that doesn't really matter until QCing is done?

We will update how much to include once qcing is done. See if we released right now, itd be ep4 ch2, but once qcing done that obviously changes to complete.

I'd say it's about 70% done. Not so much that there are bugs, but there is a lot to implement into this game.

Simply put, its not a chiru release, its a Rondo AKA Question arcs release.

In Ep3 after Kyrie and Rudolf beat the sisters of purgation and Ronove says to retreat, Eva-Beatrice has the skit of the pc's version. Is that a bug ?

That always happens when EVA does that face even in EP4. I think that will be fixed in the next version :) ( I actually liked it that face is very creepy e.e )

I have a question. I saw in the new photos section that at the scene where maria stands and sings there is a bg with maria facing against the wall and natsuhi pointing her gun on her. But I just played ep1 and in that scene, there wasnt that picture, just a black bg, do you know why? And I found a bug in ep1 at the scene where they are in kinzos study and try to chase the servants out.
