When someone is speaking the whole screen (background cg + characters) dims considerably. You can see the non-dimmed version in-between lines, and it looks much more vibrant.
It's so that you can see the white text more easily. It'd be pretty hard to read it sometimes if the background wasn't dimmed. UmiTweak are working on using a textbox instead, though, so when that happens you will be able to see the normal colouring at all times. 86.27.164.239 06:23, October 18, 2012 (UTC)
